Former CEO, President and Co-Founder Prashant Srivastava Transfers to New Role as Executive Chairman of Board of Directors
CHICAGO – May 9, 2023 – Evive, the leader in digital engagement and communications technology, today announced that after five years with the company, John McDonnell has been promoted to president and CEO. McDonnell succeeds Prashant Srivastava, who served as president and CEO since 2017 after Peter Saravis, who co-founded Evive with Srivastava in 2007, and was CEO from 2007-2017, stepped down.
Under the new leadership structure, Srivastava will transfer to executive chairman of Evive’s Board of Directors and support the ongoing successful execution of Evive’s long-term strategic plan. Saravis assumed the role of executive chairman in 2017, and will continue to serve on Evive’s Board, maintaining an active role in identifying and planning strategies that drive ongoing growth and product innovation for the company.
“I am tremendously grateful and honored to be the next president and CEO of Evive and follow in Prashant’s footsteps,” said McDonnell. “Prashant has done an outstanding job in this role over the last 16 years and has assembled a great team. Under his leadership, we have reached record growth, have continued to add outstanding talent, and have achieved significant product success within many areas of our business.”
McDonnell joined Evive in 2018, first serving as chief financial officer and adding chief operations officer to his title in December 2019. With over 25 years of business and financial management experience, McDonnell has a successful track record helping companies grow, supporting strategy development and enabling execution.
Previously, McDonnell was CFO at Infogix, Inc., a leading provider of data solutions, where he oversaw finance, revenue management, accounting and risk management. Earlier in his career, John held finance and accounting roles at SAVO and Interface Software.
“John is a strong, hands-on leader with a clear understanding of business economics and key value drivers that uniquely position him to take Evive into its next growth stage,” said Srivastava. “Peter and I started Evive to help employees get more from their benefits and help employers better understand the value of their investment across their entire benefit and resource ecosystem. As we continue to build the leading digital communications and engagement platform serving hundreds of employers and millions of employees each year, we’re confident John has the depth and breadth of experience to continue that mission and capitalize on the many opportunities ahead.”
