HITRUST CSF Certification validates Evive is committed to meeting key regulations and protecting sensitive information.
Evive, the leader in enterprise benefits engagement, announces their Disaster Recovery, Production Network, and User Acceptance Testing applications have earned Certified status for information security by HITRUST.
HITRUST CSF Certified status indicates that Evive’s previously mentioned infrastructure has met industry-defined requirements and is appropriately managing risk, and places Evive in an elite group of organizations worldwide that have earned this certification. By including federal and state regulations, standards, and frameworks, and incorporating a risk-based approach, the HITRUST CSF helps organizations address these challenges through a comprehensive and flexible framework of prescriptive and scalable security controls.
“The HITRUST CSF has become the information protection framework for the healthcare industry, and the CSF Assurance program is bringing a new level of effectiveness and efficiency to third-party assurance,” said Ken Vander Wal, Chief Compliance Officer, HITRUST. “The HITRUST CSF Certification is now the benchmark that organizations required to safeguard protected health information are measured against with regards to information protection.”
“Evive is especially gratified to achieve HITRUST Certification, as it only reinforces our ‘secure by design’ culture and ‘security and privacy first in every aspect of our operations’, begun more than 10 years ago,” states Shaoping Zhou, Vice President of Information Security, Evive.
“As the data-security and privacy landscape encounters new risks from a multitude of threats and evolving regulation requirements,” Zhou continues, “this Certification clearly communicates to our customers, third-party partners, and employees that sensitive-information protection is a high business priority at the board level and that management is committed to upholding the culture of ‘secure by design’.”
“Unlike many technology companies, security is embedded in every stage of our development process and a core pillar of our operations,” adds Raghu Venkat, Chief Technology Officer, Evive. “Along with Evive’s other security and privacy certifications, this achievement further validates the highest level commitment to securing the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the electronic protected health information entrusted to us by our clients,” Venkat concludes.
“Data security and privacy protection have always been a top priority and area of excellence for Evive,” says Prashant Srivastava, President and CEO, Evive. “And now, having completed the intensive process to earn HITRUST CSF Certification, our customers and members can have even greater assurance of our ability to protect their sensitive data.”
